Riolama is the full name of the character, Rima, from the exotic and enchanting novel, "Green Mansions." She is a strange and ethereal bird-like girl who befriends animals and is able to communicate in bird-like whistles.

I named this series Riolama because of how entranced I became years ago with this story and how these images suggest unearthly magical forests.
