Emily Rubinfeld, née Emily Eisenberg, is a resident of Wayland, MA. She received her B.F.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA where she majored in printmaking and art education. She is also a graduate of the LaGuardia High School of Music and Art (M&A) in New York City. Emily taught art to high school students at the Arlington School at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA. She then started her own photography business, Artistic Photography where she photographed functions and specialized in black and white portraiture. Emily was also the art teacher at the Loker Elementary School in Wayland, Massachusetts.
Emily paints in her studio at Saxonville Studios in Framingham, MA where she works in oils, acrylics, watercolor and mixed media collage. She is an accomplished painter, photographer and ceramist and has exhibited in many shows. She was president of the Wayland Arts Council and one of the founders of Art Space in the Wayland Town Building. She is a member of the Concord Art Association. Emily and her husband Paul have lived in Wayland since 1980 and have three children, Melinda, Zach and Alex. Her growing family now includes three spouses, Jonathan, Alexandra, and Daphne, five granddaughters, Julia, May, Evelyn, Eleanor, and Josephine, and a grandson, George. Emily's family is made complete by two beloved Goldendoodles, Sophie and Harry, and two granddog doodles, Bodie and Nori.
